'Click' entertains large crowd at University Playhouse - It was the perfect night for an outdoor movie, under a clear sky with a full moon and a light, cool breeze. The Activity and Program Council (APC) sponsored the showing of the movie "Click," starring Adam Sandler, at the University Playhouse last Thursday, Sept. 7. Some 150 students, many of them wrapped in blankets, enjoyed the movie while eating popcorn and candy, then washing it down with soft drinks, all provided by the APC. The movie started around 8 p.m. and the event was over by 10 p.m.
"The event is part of many events sponsored by the APC," said Jose Vazquez, APC operations coordinator.
This event and others like it are welcomed by students because they are an inexpensive way to participate in activities that might otherwise be too costly on a student's budget, and it is a good way to relax and spend time with friends and fellow students. - Mohammad Al-Kassim
