Graduate student Ashwini Chekkala (left) and Sadia Makhdoom, senior, greeted Esther Lehman, a visitor to their Australian booth, during last Sunday's Global Village. The event concluded UMKC's Diversity Week with food, dancing, music and a fashion show. Over 15 countries were represented at the celebration, which attracted a large crowd.

"I think we had a pretty good turnout," said Grace Bagunu, Student Services coordinator. "Our goal was to inform students, faculty, staff and the surrounding community on issues of diversity."
