A win Monday at home against Oakland University and a subsequent loss Saturday night at Indiana University Purdue University-Indianapolis (IUPUI) leaves the Kangaroos fourth in conference standings. Monday night's 75-61 victory over Oakland was a good team effort.
The UMKC men's basketball team lost to North Dakota State University (NDSU) Tuesday night at Bison Sports Arena in Fargo, N.D. A three pointer put the Bisons up early in the game but a jump shot by Dane Brumagin, freshman, brought the Kangaroos within one point.
