Jan. 6

1:23 p.m. Miscellaneous investigation - A faculty member in the Henry W. Bloch School of Business and Public Administration reported he received suspicious e-mails on Jan. 2.

3:15 p.m. Information - A person in the Administrative Center gave prescription medications to a staff member. The person said he/she no longer needed the medications.

4:25 p.m. Warrant arrest - During a routine traffic stop at Cleaver II Blvd. and Oak St. UMKC Police arrested a suspect on several warrants.

8:43 p.m. Property damage - A door was damaged at Cherry Street Residence Hall between 5 and 8:30 p.m.

Jan. 7

1:10 a.m. Larceny - Prior to 1 a.m. a bill changer in the School of Biological Sciences was broken into. An unknown amount of cash was taken.

11:57 a.m. Assist other agency - UMKC officers assisted the Kansas City Police Department with a vehicular accident.

5:07 p.m. Stolen auto - A faculty member returned to Parking Area 28 to find his 1986 Buick missing. The car was parked in the lot between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Jan. 9

9:44 a.m. Miscellaneous investigation - A person in Royall Hall not affiliated with the University was asked to leave the property.

11:10 a.m. Larceny - A student reported returning to his vehicle in Parking Area 31 to find the license plate renewal stickers missing.

Jan. 11

8:45 a.m. Injury - A student fell down the stairs in Grant Hall. She was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

8:55 a.m. Traffic arrest - During a routine traffic stop at Volker Blvd. and Brookside Blvd., UMKC Police arrested a suspect for driving while revoked.

9:43 a.m. Non-injury vehicular accident - A vehicle at 52nd and Oak St. was struck by another as the driver was making a left turn.

1:35 p.m. Hit and run vehicular accident - A victim returned to her vehicle in the University Center parking lot to find damage.

4:15 p.m. Larceny - A student in the School of Law reported she discovered her wallet missing from her backpack. She was missing cash, credit cards and identification.

5:28 p.m. Non-injury vehicular accident - A driver in the Administrative Center parking lot struck the car parked next to him when he tried to back out of his parking space.

Jan. 12

11:59 a.m. Suspicious party - A staff member in the School of Education reported a suspicious person looking into offices. Officers were unable to locate the person.
