Present and former members of the UMKC women's volleyball team played before a packed house Friday night at Swinney Recreation Center (SRC). While all five games were close, it was the current installment of Kangaroos who prevailed with a 3-2 victory ((25-13), (20-25), (25-21), (26-28), and (17-15)).

UMKC Volleyball is gearing up for another season with new faces and talents, as well as familiar ones from last year. The 2008 UMKC Circle of Champions award winner reportedly excused himself from action before his scheduled second round tee-off time to return to his native Scotland; Clark originally hales from Glasgow.
