Dance majors - more than just moves

The Conservatory rehearsal dance studios are lit late into the evening this week as graduating seniors hustle to prepare for their senior recitals. The senior recitals serve as the capstone project in the dance program, so seniors are bustling with great excitement to get everything in order.

Food review: Domo Sushi and Grill

In the heart of Brookside, there is Domo Sushi and Grill. It sits under a kicky orange sign that spells Domo in neon lights. It's not a plain jane kind of restaurant. The food at Domo is pretty, elegant and tasty. The inside of Domo is longer, taller and more chic than can be imagined from the outside.

Actors take direction from writers in showcase of six new plays

UMKC students and some community members came together to put on a production of three graduate students' plays. Graduate students David Coley, Zac Gall and Ry Kinciaid wrote completely original short plays that look at relationships and present them in a dark comedy sort of fashion.
