'300' and 'Inland Empire'

In Theaters '300' At the beginning of "300," we hear the background story of King Leonidas of Sparta narrated by one of his men. We hear of his upbringing in the traditional Spartan way: he learns to fight from the time he can walk and is entrenched in violence throughout childhood to train him to be a fierce warrior.

Casa Grande means "great house," according to my very small grasp of the Spanish language. The name befits the restaurant. Great wooden doors open into an imposing dining room. Shiny, waxed wooden floors gleam in the afternoon sun. They are a stark contrast to the high, shadowed ceiling held up by columns and arches.

The female form is the focus of a new art show on campus. To celebrate Women's History month, the African-American History and Culture House held the opening of "Sentiments" last Friday. The show is a collection of artwork created by African-American male artists depicting the beauty of African-American women.
