In Theaters 'Ghost Rider' Imagine if you will: a young boy sells his soul to the devil to save his father's life, only to have his father die anyway. Nothing happens for many years, and then suddenly the devil wants the young man to serve as his bounty hunter to capture souls and demons who have escaped from hell.
This Sunday, Feb. 25, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences hands out its annual awards. This section will help identify the frontrunners for the big show in the major categories, as well as our own personal preferences for who should win each award, whether they are nominated for it or not.
Watching "The Secret Lives of Losers" was like watching most peoples' worst nightmares. Souperman 1724 Main St. In an unlikely building on an unlikely street, one hero rises to right a wrong. Specifically, he brings gourmet soup to hard workers and hipsters in the Crossroads. Souperman, 1724 Main St., is the brainchild of Rob Dalzell, owner of 1924 Main, another popular Crossroads eatery.
With the Academy Awards fast approaching, rounding out award show season, movie-watching is at its annual peak. Unfortunately, when you pick a movie at the theater, you're not guaranteed your money's worth. In recent years, when a film gets nominated, or has some pre-Oscar nomination buzz, movie theaters will replay the movie so people can have a chance to see what the hullabaloo was about.
