'Religulous': Jesus vs. The Atheist

Abstract:
"But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise…" (1 Corinthians 1:27). That is perhaps the only passage of the Bible that Bill Maher might agree with. Well, except the whole "God" part.

In the docu-comedy "Religulous," director Larry Charles (of "Borat" fame) and Maher travel across the world interviewing people of faith in an attempt to point out how unbelievable their beliefs are....

Lets end this ridiculous debate right here: If any religious organization had to prove that their religion was true in a court of law, BEYOND A DOUBT, how would they do it???

Answers not considered in a court of law:

1) "Just believe it"
2) "God told me"
3) "Just have faith in it"
4) "Someone from 4000 years ago told me to do it"

Tired but Patient:

Your argument, while cute, is not compelling. How many innocents have been convicted in courts of law?

YOUR argument is not compelling. It completely avoids the point Tired but Patient is making.

It is clear to me that you bigoted, athiest fools are too dense to see how arrogant and disgusting you are being and cannot respect the fact that people think differently than you. It's called faith and some of us just feel God's presense and it cannot be proven or explained. I pity those of you that lack spirituality/God/religion in your lives but you don't have to be hateful because of it. It is funny how universities claim to be establishments that encourage open mindedness but in actuality they are just breeding grounds of hate towards those that aren't atheist and/or liberal ae "enlightened" (what a joke). Today universities simply are there to indoctrinate and foster bigotry towards religion, particularly Christianity. Unfortunately, you brain-washed, silly drones are to blind to see it. It is reminiscent of what was occuring in Nazi Germany or Eastern Europe under Stalinism but now Christians are in the line of fire in the United States. It's sickening and frankly scary.
