Debate in Film Panel Discussion: A panel of debate and film enthusiasts will analyze and discuss representations of oral arguments in film to benefit DEBATE-Kansas City, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting debate in urban middle and high schools. Panelists include Mitch Brian, screenwriter and UMKC professor; Mikah Story, UMKC professor; Mark Forsythe, city council candidate; and DKC High School debaters. "Ball: A Tramedy": one-man play that chronicles Brian Lobel's journey into the world of cancer. At 20 years old, Lobel was diagnosed with testicular cancer.
